Default PAHUD, CPU-problem

My CPU runs at 100% when using PAHUD.

I can hardly run 3-tables; when opening a 4th, i just autofold.

Even if i only open PAHUD without any pokerclient or pokertracker open, it pup the CPU up tp between 50-100 %

You did not say what speed your computer is/ CPU/MEMORY.

The HUD ran my AMD 3300+ at 100% and kept the computer so hot that I was forced to buy a new computer as it kept overheating. With PT and HUD and anything else that you run, it's gonna tax out the system. Try turning off unnecessary performance items in the control panel and make PT a low priority program. Also, reformatting your hard drive can make a tremendous improvement and should be done once in a while.

Do you have the CPU problem if you do not run HandGrabber?

How is this done for PT?

I'm fixing to add a gig of RAM to my desktop bringing me to 1.256 gigs, this will hopefully take care of the problem w/ Bodog and their software, but just in case, I'd really like to know how this is done.

Yes, even if it's the only program i runs.

Maybe it is because i have bought another screen (dual setup), but other programs work fine.

Think i'll try to unplug the one monitor, if that doens't work i'll guess i have to upgrade to 1GB ram, instead off 500 MB

Didn't work, guess 512MB ram isn't enough to run PAHUD proporly; i'll upgrade with another 512MB ram.

I just tried at Interpoker again, there it works fine.

It it's just that horrific Pacific software the messes it up. To bad, i liked playing there.

Amazing how one of the leaders in online casinos, can have such crappy software.

Task manager, processes, right click on PT and choose low.

You'll have to do this each time you run it.

I cannot emphasize the importance of turning off all unnecessary performance items.
