Default A9 street by street...play along [400NL]

No-Limit Hold'em, $2.00/$4.00

SB (532.50)
Hero (698.20)
CO (376.95)
Button (663.80)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
<font color="#666666">1 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to $14.00</font>, <font color="#666666">1 folds</font>, Hero?

What is the best course of action here and why? Villain is a reg, probably winning player. He has opened his button a decent amount and I have been folding until now.

I know more then nothing, so I don't agree that my read is worthless. Based on my read (reg), I think he plays perfect to a 3-bet alot of the time. Given that he is opening his BTN quite a bit the last few orbits, I figure I'm ahead of his range. Disadvantage is that I'm OOP.

i think all three of your options are reasonable. i think you should post the preflop action and open the discussion to flop play.
