question about buy ins
i read the other night that if one was to play plo heads up and u were averaging 10bb/100, one would need between 300 to 400 buyins. is this true? are the swings really that sick?
how many buyins are sufficient if one was to play 6 max? i know for nlh, 20 buyins is decent but for plo, i'm not sure at all now. little help please? |

Re: question about buy ins
I have larger swings at 6max than I do at HU PLO...true story.
300-400 is crazy. Maybe if you were playing for a living and had to support people, then obv the more buyins the better. Also, if we're talking about having that money on a poker site, then 300-400 buyins is just stupid, you don't need anything over 50 buyins imo on a site, anything else should be invested in something that can net you a decent return on that "idle" money. |

Re: question about buy ins
ah, well that makes me feel better but i got this information from the the official september thread in this section. a guy named CMYR said about the buyin amount and he seems to have respect in here.
personally i couldnt see why one would need so many buyins. but then again, i dont know much about the bankroll aspects of plo. and when i say i dont know much........it means i dont know anything. maybe somebody could explain CMYR's reasoning for so many buyins? |

Re: question about buy ins
unless youre a really laggy player, 50 should be about right. 300 is insane.
