Default 6 Max Strategy

I apologize if I am missing some obvious source of info on this, but can anyone direct me to a thread on 6-max SNG strategy adjustments? I have been playing some 6-max SNGs on Stars using basically the same strategy as I use with normal SNGs (super tight early until push/fold time around level 5). Is the "normal" strategy still correct?

I notice, by the way, that there are usually 2-3 aweful players and 1-2 really good players; i.e., the aweful players attract the really good players and the "average" good and bad players stay away. Because of this, it seems like they sometimes play like a HU SNG in that there end up being 3 competent players fighting for 2 spots with the blinds relatively low.

I've never played them, but obviously you're paying the blinds a lot more often. So, you have to open up some in the early levels.

You can try a search, this topic has been discussed before.
