Importing taking sick long time, with thousands of errors.

[/ QUOTE ]

Could you send me one of your hand history file to tourneymgr@gmail.com

The lots of errors and taking a long time are linked. Remember, hour 1 of beta 1

mail sent, hope it helps

Yup, thanks to you and the other people that sent their error hand histories. Fixed 3 different problems related to Stars imports and all of the files that were sent to me now import perfectly. I'll be putting out an update tonight with this fixed as well as some other stuff.

For the first little while I'm going to be putting out updates pretty quickly but as we get deeper into the beta they will come out more slowly but with many more changes between versions.

It will be a dual release of a HUD and a Tracker(you can buy separately).

Tracker is 65, Hud is 35 for $100 total if I remember correctly. It is listed in the thread further up.

P.S. your avatar is out.

I announced earlier that the manager would be $65 and the HUD $35. I'm actually going to combine the two into one purchase and I'm dropping the price by $5 so it will be $95 for the two.

I'll also be providing a $10 coupon code during the first week following official launch and a $15 coupon code to existing Tourney Manager users for one month following launch.

So, basically $85 if you buy it when it launches and no ongoing fees.

Edit: no official launch date yet.

Thanks,

rvg

How do you import directly from your PT database?

You can't just yet - almost finished doing this but will take another couple of days before it is ready. For now you'll need to export hand histories and then import them into HM.

The import is going smoothly, no errors yet and it greats that I can just import a buttload of hands. With PT, you had to break it down into several imports.

Import of about 20K fphg .hhf took 17mins no errors.
That's about twice as fast as PT on my m/c.
If I delete/drop the DB in PGAdmin will HM recreate it? ( so I can do some comparative testing)

Just tried the following:

Exported a bunch of stars hands from PT, about 19k
Unzipped some datamined hands from Party

Tried importing them both.
It scanned all files and imported 0 hands.

You want a screenshot?

Here it is anyhow:
