Default 2 external monitors + 1 laptop?

My current setup is a HP Pavillion laptop hooked up to a Samsung 20" monitor (running XP fwiw). I would like to add another identical 20" monitor to this, but my laptop doesnt have another port to hook it up. I have seen a couple products such as the "dualhead2go" that would do this, but is there a easier and/or cheaper alternative? What's the best way to go about adding the 2nd monitor?

You'll need some other video card. There are probably USB or PCMCIA cards out there.

I noticed this in the Matrox DH2G card you specified.

"Run your Windows desktop at up to 2560 x 1024 resolution in 16.7M colors at 60Hz stretched across two displays (1280 x 1024 per display)1."

No 1600x1200 per monitor which makes it pretty useless if you want the extra monitor to play more tables.

Im assuming i read that right anyway.

I use a VTbook from Villagetronic at 1600x1200 and it works fine.

Am i missing something then?

"Since the maximum resolution for each display is set at 1280x1024x16bpp@60Hz, this limitation applies also when only one display is connected." page

That is for the DualDisplay mode. The standard VTBook will support up to 1920x1200 for DVI. You can run one external monitor off of your laptop DVI/VGA port and the other one off of the VTbook port.
