Villian is 43/20/1/56... I flopped a huge hand and decided to go for the check raise, with so many players in the hand. Whats your action on the river?

Bet the flop then bet the turn. You at least have to bet the turn after whiffing on the flop.

The river is a sucky spot but given the weird way you played the hand you have to call.

Limited reads but it seems that villain looks like a passive station and can't contain his excitement on the river. I think he has hit his straight on the river holding 3567, with diamonds maybe.

Against a more aggressive and competent opponent, you could call here. I also agree that you need to value-bet this river.

don't try to be so tricky and just get your money in while you are ahead.

bet flop
bet turn

as played bet/fold river.
