Default How to stop Fulltilt from lagging soooo much?

Every since this newest update my computer is lagging like crazy. I used to be able to listen to itunes while playing, but now even with just FTP, PT, and PAHUD my computer lags a ton.

Any suggestions?

thanks,

jeff

I'm getting a second computer soon to run pokertracker off of....I'm hoping this cuts down my lag on Pstars and FullTilt.

How much ram do you guys have and what kind of processors? I'm usually 4-8 tabling MTTs and cash. Usually have Stars and Bodog open at the same time; itunes, firefox, pahud, pt, fts, and thunderbird. No lag.

AMD 3600, 2 Gigs Ram

My PT database is 1M+ hands now, and I'll usually play up to 20 tables , so it can get slow. There's probably a bunch of stuff I could do to help speed it up, but I think getting a second computer to run PT is the most effective way...hopefully.

I have an AMD 3000+ with 1.5G RAM. I run ~10 FTP tables, ~5 tables on another site, import into a VERY large PT database, run PAHUD(flickerfree), spadeeye, and winamp and I have zero problems with lag. I am quite confused as to what is going on. My PC is far from balla, and I don't have any problems.
