Default Re: Getting Ready for the Weekend (NL CASINO GAME)

As I started the post I knew how this will end.

Whatever. I am not that guy that lose his money within 15 min. I am not that guy that is afraid of playing with high presseure to the opponents even when I am not stacked well.

The only thing I wanted to know was what is your hint for ME. From a psychological perspective! Barry Greenstein wrote in his book "Ace on the River" that when you have the option to play one big stack (100 times the BB) or a smallstack lets say twice for my example 100 $ the you should play rather for 100 $ then for 200 $ and take the hole bankroll in risk.

The Reason behind it is simple playing shortstack without makeing bad decision without a proper bankroll...

Only one or two people took this Post serious and showed me of playing afraid against the opponents because of my limitation. THANKS FOR THAT !!!

My Option will be - without a bankroll I dont go to the game! or with my limited bankroll I wanna go as a shortstack to the game with the option buy in twice.

Lets say for the next weekend I am a shortstack with a 100$ buy in. The standard raises are around 10$ or more (so I am commited on th Flop). What an effect has it when I double up and loosen up my game to the other player ? what do you think how fast they will adjust to my game ?

Hehe, your two options:

Buy in full
1) Wait for AA
2) Get it all-in preflop against QQ
3) Yay, you made money! +EV!
4) Get sucked out by a Q on the river
5) Oh wells at least it was fun
6) Busto

Buy in short twice
1) Wait for KK
2) Get it all-in preflop against AK
3) Yay, you made money! +EV!
4) Get sucked out by an A on the flop
5) Reload
6) Wait for QQ
7) Get it all-in preflop against AK
8) Yay, you made money! +EV!
9) Get sucked out by an K on the turn
10) Oh wells at least it was fun
11) Busto

If those are your only 2 options then I would recommend buying in for half.

As for adjusting, it won't take people long to make small adjustments if you start playing more hands. however, they probably won't pay much attention at your live NL200 game anyway so either way they are pretty much going to play their hands
