I've never had thai food, but I love chinese food and I'm ok with japanese food. How similar are they? Thai food is very spicy, right? Keep in mind I mean American "chinese" food.

You said there isn't really American food in Thailand, but what about chinese/japanese food in Thailand? If so, is it similar to what's here, or more like real ethnic chinese food? If that makes sense.

I'm also guessing that you eat a lot of seafood?

[/ QUOTE ]

the seafood is amazing, far better than in america.

its kinda hard to describe thai food if you haven't had it. some stuff is gonna seem very weird to you...like a whole fish cooked and set on a plate. you got the head and the eyeballs and all the skin etc. you just cut it open and eat it.

i love it, go to a thai restaurant to try it out. The Lotus of Siam in Las Vegas is a pretty amazing Thai restaurant and is as close to authentic as I've seen in the states

Wow, cool thread. Regarding the seafood, there is one Baller ass seafod resturant in Bangkok. Its where a lot of foreigners and rich Thai's go. Just ask the taxi driver to take you to the best seafood place.

Anyway, so once you get into the resturant, you get a shopping cart, and you walk down a long ass isle of seafood. They have every type of seafood that you can think of. You pick out what you want and then pay for the seafood first. Then you take your seat and the waiter will come and ask you how you want all your stuff prepared. You can have it cooked thai style or however you want. Me and my buddies ended up getting the biggest lobster tails that we ever had; we had those grilled with butter. We had tom yam soup with jumbo schrimp and a couple other seafood stir fry dishes. Definately a don't miss if your a seafood lover.

Beat: I only had one comdom and only got to [censored] one of them

Variance: I paid for it

Also, how can you post this without pics. Have some decency, man.

Sounds like a pretty half-assed 3-some if you only [censored] one of them. I will give you credit for a 2 and a half some but thats it.

Now its saturday so go stock up on rubbers and come back here with a real 3-some trip report.

Dudes. We were in patong so I guess that's a mini-pattaya or something. About asking the girls if they are whores? Yeah, I had 2 friends who did that, one of them even got the bartender and then proceeded to ask people IF the girl was a whore and even the girl.

Then come to the room and wake me up and tell me to go sleep somewhere else, fastforward a few minutes and she says give me $$$ (to my friend ofcoz).

My other friend had the same mishap. I saw both of the girls and I was not drunk so im going to assume I was somewhat conscious. They both looked like normal girls, no miniskirts, make up galore, [censored] out n stuff. I dunno, my theory was that they were normal girls but just took the opportunity to take a payment because they can?

Hot as [censored] here. Im used to +5C being a heatwave.

Also, what does ayo tao rai mean?

What's up with the Taxi-Meters in Bangkok, if you put on the meter they will take some strange roads to get more money out of you. If you just give them cash upfront or agree on a price they will drive you straight to your destination. For example from Skytrain Nana to MBK, it is a straight trip but not if you put on the meter [img]/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img]

Should have been ayuuuu tao rai which means "How old are you"

Taxis can be a pain. If you know a little thai it help. I basically get in and tell me where to take me and then make a comment about how I want to go there fast and the best route. If I sense that we are taking a detour I will imidiatly question him and ask him where the [censored] he is going. Sometimes they take sideroads to avoid traffic that they saw earlier but sometimes they are just trying to get a few extra baht out of you.

As a general rule, if you are picking up a girl in a bar then she is a whore. This is not ALWAYS true but it is for the most part. If you want to [censored] a real thai girl without paying you wont be able to the first night you meet her. There are some thai chicks who like to go out and hook up but for the most part its mostly whores.

of course, the easiest tell is when she has a look of pure and outer boredom on her face.

[/ QUOTE ]

I was at the airport flying out and I saw this super pasty nerd hugging his thai "girlfriend" for at least 5 minutes while crying, and the girl had this look of boredom on her face (behind his back of course) like she was in a physics lecture. I couldn't stop laughing and she saw me laughing and smiled. I really wish I could have taken a picture. It was some funny [censored]

edit

Degen I think it means hope you wake up with the gift that keeps on giving
