Default 200 NL - I Always Try Hard To Find Spots to Steal From Nits?

Button is 23/11 through very few hands. Seems not tricky and a bad straightforward TAG.

SB is 19/19 through 47 hands. I imagine his 3betting range is close to what it should be, or maybe a little loose.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (6 handed) internettexasholdem.com

CO ($85.10)
Button ($193.15)
SB ($198)
Hero ($222.80)
UTG ($310.10)
MP ($200)

Preflop: Hero is BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to $7</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB raises to $25</font>, Hero calls $23, Button calls $18.

Flop: ($75) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
SB checks, Hero checks, Button checks.

Turn: ($75) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
SB checks, Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">Button bets $28</font>, SB folds, Hero calls $28.

River: ($131) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $70</font>

I actually think a Ace is a big part of his range

It doesn't look like a bluff; it looks like a blocking bet. I thought you were likely ahead on the turn and likely behind on the river.

A strange hand. PF you could've raised. Call is OK as long as after the flop, you bet the turn.

Checking the turn and only calling a very small bet is a huge mistake. As played on the turn, when Ace fell on river you're just about done.

Well if he's straightforward won't he check behind with tens and queens and bet AK/AQ?

My thoughts:

I can't c/f river. Therefore AQ/AK are getting some money from me anyways.

Why not bet and make QQ/KK fold?
