I think if the flop comes 3s 4s 5s, and the turn is 2s, then you can probably get away from a check-raise. But absolute rainbow fruit salad, miracle turn... you have to be super excited about the check-raise. This is your hand.

BB is 62/38/1.8. I often limp in these situations, cause BB raises so frequently preflop and I will end up seing a flop with good position to the maniac. Forgot to mention this. I should have raised the turn, I agree. But how can I call such a big overbet, after a limped pot, then check on the flop and all of a sudden a double pot size raise by SB? Only hand I beat is 2pair here, and I don`t think a 20/10/2 would play it that way.

If the pot is multiway, won't you have bad position on the maniac? I've always tried to play pots HU in position vs. LAGs, but in a multiway pot with a speculative hand, you want them on your left, not your right. Maybe I'm not thinking about it correctly?

Sry that actualy was a standart raise by SB, hmm...

But why would he checkraise turn ? Looks like a straight to me

55/99/77/86 all beat me. if he had a combo draw would`t he take the free card with great odds ?

I have on occasion seen villains put in a lot of money with less than the nuts. If you have to put villain on a really nitty range just put him on top two and get it in. Works for me. I have great faith in my opponents.

EDIT: Raise the turn wtf. This is like really basic stuff. And then you fold. The only reason must be mega-tilt.

Try 16/15 for a change.
