Hey I feel like I owe Jamaal Magloire an apology. I'm not even calling him Fatty anymore. The second half of the season he was probably my favorite Blazers player.

Roy???

Brandon was awesome all year and I'm probably already guilty of overlooking what he does every night. It's more of an 'extreme to opposite extreme' kind of thing, Magloire stepped up the second half after a disastrous first half and gave the team a physical presence that they were dying for. Teams were beating the hell out of the Blazers for awhile there in the middle of the season. I think other teams realized they could rattle the young Blazers by being physical, and it worked really well. That tactic pretty much ended any playoff hopes, several times I thought members of the team - Jarett Jack in particular - were going to start crying from the rough treatment. It was frustrating to sit there and watch. So even though the team was out of any sort of contention by some point, it was gratifying to watch Magloire would come in and send people flying three or four times a game - his match-up vs. Dikembo Mutombo was classic. The ultra-physical tactics against the Blazers pretty much ended and then something crazy happened - Magloire started scoring and rebounding like an average NBA center.

Perhaps it's just a lack of feel-good stories and the pride we have to take in small victories around these parts lately but I now think Magloire's a cool cat.

There should be a Bonzi suicide watch going on right now. He walked away from a lot of money coming off an amazing playoffs performance. He woulda had $$$ and love this season in SAC. Now I'm pretty sure he's getting really fat.

Morewhine,

I was going through Suns draft pick history and I was reminded that the Suns drafted Sergio Rodriguez and gave him to the Blazers for cash. ĦQue lastima!

I hope he fired his agent. Turning down that massive offer from the Kings for the small one year offer from the Rockets is as dumb as it gets.

I love to gloat when other people find out what a turd Bonzi is.

Sergio Rodriguez isn't a sure thing yet. But I think he's far better right now than anyone expected.

Whenever I get sad, I think about shipping Telfair to the Celtics and I smile.

Never would have guessed that he and Tmac are related

How can a starting NBA center average 2 points/game?
