Calling vs raising / all in, 2 hands with draws.
First hand: no real tells, only played 15 hands at the table, i reraised villain at the first flop with my semi-strong ace and folded when he shoved fwiw. Call/fold a blank river, or shove this and hope he folds?
BTN: $214.87 SB: $113.53 BB: $23.68 Hero (UTG): $126.13 MP: $28.78 CO: $179.46 Pre-Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (UTG) Hero raises to $4, MP folds, CO calls $4, 3 folds Flop: ($9.50) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero bets $7, CO calls $7 Turn: ($23.50) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero bets $18, CO raises to $36 Hero ??? 2nd hand: a couple of hands later this hand comes along, different villain. He has not involved himself in any pots with me, so again no tells. Call and reevaluate, or reraise this all in? Hand 1
I would fold here 100%. You need fold equity for a semi bluff, and I don't see villian folding here ever. Hand 2 Unless you think villian can do this with air, you are way behind his range. All you have is a gutshot, I think a fold is in order. EDIT: missed the double gutter, call at a minimum. Not sure if a raise > call here. It really depends on villian |

Hand 1: I fold, especially readless. Villain may have you drawing dead already. If you had the AhQc then its a different story.
Hand 2: You can float this if you want since you're IP, but I wouldn't repop vs. an unknown here. |

Re: Calling vs raising / all in, 2 hands with draws.
Hand 1: Fold. You are out of position and will probably face another bet on the river which makes calling a bad option (esp. if a heart falls). Raising seems bad too since it sets you up to win a small pot or loose a big one. I'd note the min raise in position and look get a read on it's meaning.
Hand 2: Call. You have two overcards, a double gunshot (9 and K) and position. I think I would call and re-evaluate the turn. |
