Prax: I'm saying it's bad br-management, and it is.

Well, that may be - but the fact is, if we had $2-300 to pay for a trny entry, we wouldn't be micro players, we'd be playing 2/4-3/6. A satellite is a one-shot - maybe a two-shot deal for a micro - and buying into the trny is bad management for everyone, isn't it? I mean, what are the odds anyone cashes? Katya Thater couldn't get into the money. Neither could betgo. Or a lot of other great players, big field/bad cards, they'd both have made a lot more money just playing cash games.

I have the FTPs to play two satellites. I just would like to have them be Razz.

Uhm, to play $300 tourneys you should have a bank roll of like $20k. To play $3/6 you need $1500

We're talking about a tourney that has occurred twice in calendar '07 (WCOOP and FTOPS). You don't need a $20k BR to take a shot at a once in a blue moon tourney event. As for the sats, if prax can convince FTP to implement affordable sats for the microstakers, then it's good management to decide on a % of your BR to dedicate to them (no more than 20%) and go for it. For prax and a lot of other players, winning the sat and getting to play in the FTOPS event is worth more in utility than $300.

How about winning some MTT an using the $ for a buy in? Or place high in some.

Beat: Ever since the wife d/l'd some update on FTP i can't log into it.*

Brag: Won the $10+1 Stud tourney on 10/8 for $177

Variance: It was on Stars and there's no way to transfer the $ to FTP (without check cashout, send to FTP) because I CAN"T LOG ON!

*I tried uninstalling the FTP client and reinstalling. Still no go. Something about FullTilt.e.exe not working or some [censored] like that.

You could find someone with an account on both to do the transfer.

Pretty bad that satelites into a Razz tourney are NLHE. Makes no sense to me. I will say that Razz SNGs on Full Tilt don't run very often at any buy-in. I'm sure that's their reasoning.
