I hate playing Damon in cf and hate having Giambi at 1st. I mean if Giambi comes back and starts mashing, he has to be in the lineup, but if not I think we should have a rotation of some sort and play whoever is hot.

kay was going on and on about how great petite is after 100 pitches, asking leiter and girardi how he does it. he is 4-21 he shuts them down! leiter says, maybe he just doesnt pitch very much after hes been out there a while, its not many at bats. kay says it again and asks girardi, girardi says it might be because joe only leaves andy in past 100 when he is pitching well. kay shuts up, nice pause, back to baseball. it was one of those moments where kay is rattling on about some stupid short term stat, and you wish someone could just tell him how wrong he is and then the other two actually say something very sane. im sure it doesnt sound as funny in writing, but those times when you know kay is flustered are great. esp when its both the announcers making him look dumb.

Joba threw another perfect inning tonight with two strikeouts.
Apparently, he was in NY getting a passport yesterday. The Yankees go to Toronto Monday. I assume that means that he'll be with them as long as he feels good tomorrow.
