I'm not the only one that's pissed Farnsworth is still on the team, right? As far as I'm concerned, he's just stealing a roster spot from Edwar or Chris Britton.

[/ QUOTE ] What you guys need to realize is the Yanks did not need to trade him by today. He will absolutely clear waivers. No one wants to pay 5.6 mil for a middle reliever. They can then try to move him.

Peter Abraham said on his blog that they could have traded him for Wickman, but Atlanta wanted the Yankees to pay Farnsworth's entire salary.

[/ QUOTE ] we should've done that - would've been awesome to see wickman back in the bronx. he was one of my favorite pitchers back in the day.
