If his range is TT+, AQ+ and he pushes QQ+, AK+ then you expect him to push 55% of the time and fold 45%.

If he folds you gain ~$34.

If he pushes you can fold and loose an additional ~$82 or you can call. If you call I think you've got about 35% of the equity against his range.

I think this makes it an easy fold when he makes it $24.

why did you 4bet to $90? just so you can give yourself odds to call a push?

as played, the hand looks spew.

once you do 4bet to 90 (a huge 4bet), though, yeah, i think you have to call the shove.

So I was reading your article and figured I'd give my meta game a try against a bunch of regulars.

<font color="black">Hero (SB): $280.80</font>
BB: $615.18
UTG: $199.20
CO: $217.70
BTN: $200.00

<font color="black">Preflop:</font> Hero is dealt 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 Players)
2 folds, <font color="red">BTN raises to $7.00</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $24.00</font>, <font color="red">BB raises to $70.00</font>, BTN folds, <font color="red">Hero raises all-in to $280.80</font>, BB calls $210.80

<font color="black">Flop:</font> ($568.60) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 All-In)

<font color="black">Turn:</font> ($568.60) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 All-In)

Pot Size: $568.60 ($2.50 Rake)

BB had K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (a pair of Aces) and LOST (-$280.80)
Hero had 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (two pairs, Sixes and Fives) and WON (+$285.30)

Apparantly button folded QQ

solid suckout.

but this is NOT what the article is about. your play was a 5bet, the article is about 4bet sizing.

yeah 4 betting this is bad, becuase if he pushes then then you have to call cuz you put in half your stack preflop. (putting this much money in preflop and then folding is just bad poker). So in essence, your committing your entire stack to win ~17BBs. Just fold preflop.
