Default Poker Tracker

I just started playing 2/4 limit hold'em on poker stars. I wanted to know how important it is to have poker tracker??? Is it east to use? What percent of players do you think use it at that level?
Thanks

It's most useful with a HUD, like PokerAce. Otherwise you have to look up your opponents stats.

As for usefulness, pretty much everyone here will vouch for it, but in the end it's a mathmatical, automatic, way to get a read on an opponent. It tells you how many flops they see, how aggressive they are. It's the kind of thing that if you were playing one table you'd be able to keep track of in your mind, but when you multi-table, you can't.

My view is that if you're just going to play one table at a time, and you can remember who you've played (or use the notes box) you shouldn't use it, because it will encourage you to pay attention. But if you're multi-tabling use it to give you an edge.

It is also useful to keep track of your own play which alone is important enough to have PT.

QFT. If all it did was keep track of your own play it would be worth the cost. Factor in the rest and it pays for itself very quickly.
