just watched the first episode of mad men,it was really good.its a little strange how they can't swear,(i haven't watched any recent american tv that wasn't hbo or the simpsons or seinfeld in a long time) but other than that everything about it seemed really good.

i love the idea of watching a stylised version of new york in the fifties,and it looks great,the music is great,they managed to make a show about working in an advertising agency compelling,and the characters seemed interesting.

the whole fifties society is fascinating too,the casual misogony would put even OOT to shame (well on second thoughts lets not get carried away!)

Bret Michael Rock of Love: AWESOME. I mean, pretty stupid, but it's a bunch of slutty, mostly aging rock tramp chicks, all trying their hardest to f Bret Michaels. Lots of open makeout sessions in front of all the other girls. One girl with pink spiky hair is super hot. Most are sorta gross.

Scott Baio is 45 and still single: Watched an ep of this. Wow, it looks horrible.

The Age of Love: Watched a few minutes of this, looks retarded.

Per TMZ, Cheryl from Pirate Master killed herself. Apparently her boyfriend committed suicide two months ago as well.

So I keep forgetting to post about it, but seriously, gents, Mad Men is very good and you should totally watch it.

The ONLY thing I don't like so far are the little cheesy jokes/'reminders' that the setting is in the 60s and that lol people believed funny things back then. If they could be just a little less self-conscious.
