Re: flop squeeze
This is dumb, I dont see people CC 3-bets with many hands that missed this board. Most of the time when a semi-competent player CCs a 3-bet its AK/JJ/TT. And even if the buttons range is fairly wide, this flop still hits it pretty hard. Then you have like 0 equity if you get called or raised, seems like pretty much the definition of stupid bluff.

Re: flop squeeze
Like it. BB almost always shows up with some kind of wired pair here and when the buttons range is wide wtf can he continue with on this flop

Re: flop squeeze
Definitely an interesting play, but to most I think it would look FOS. With AK or a set or AJ, you would probably not pull a squeeze like this since the size of the pot is pretty big compared to stacks. When the pot is not this big, I lead with sets and big hands all the time hoping they think I am FOS and raise me. Results?

Wow does that looks FOS. And not even in the 'it's so bad it might look strong' kind of way. [/ QUOTE ] QFT I don't really think it makes it -EV vs 2/4 regs though. |

Re: flop squeeze
yes but on a flop that is nearly impossible to semibluff w/ somebody left to act it is a very effective play.

yes but on a flop that is nearly impossible to semibluff w/ somebody left to act it is a very effective play. [/ QUOTE ] The fact that the line looks FOS does mean that pfrr will call lighter though. And since both players are tags there's no reason to believe SB isn't capable of making a move if button folds. Everything comes down to how observant/tricky/good these players are, I think the play might have a positive expectation despite looking like [censored]. |
