Someone running under 4 is all but impossible |

Re: Who is the fastest player in the nfl?
Troy Williamson self proclaimed himself the fastest WR in the league.
He has to have the worst hands in the league tho. [Also I dont believe that he is the fastest WR] Vikes are 4-0 when he has over 70yd rec, woo! Todd Lowber is some sprinter that has nvr played WR before and got cut after TC. He was supposely fast. |

Interesting article regarding the subject: http://www.insidefootball.com/draft/40yardarticle.html [/ QUOTE ] ha, I went to school with Menedez at EKU during the same time period. He was a sick Division 1-AA wide receiver but he was way too short to ever really do anything in the NFL. His predecessor was even sicker. I forget his name now but he went to the Seahawks and made the probowl his rookie year. He was 6'5" and a walk on/ |

The funny thing was our #2 wide receiver Bobby Washington was something like 5'3". He still holds the single season record for most receptions in a season. I tried to look it up to make sure bc I know people might not believe me since 5'3 is tiny but it seems that ekusports.com only has stats back to 2003 and google is hard bc EKu had another more recent Bobby Washington that played for them. I know that he was short enough that we still make fun of a friend of mine for getting a fast break lay up swatted off the backboard by him during an intermural basketball game 10 years ago remember the other guys name now, alex bannister |

Re: Who is the fastest player in the nfl?
for the record, im not saying this guy would have been the best if he was taller or anything. Although we usually had a lineman or two go pro every year, we were a 2A school and never really expected anyone to ever make it big in the NFL. Just wanted to point out he was sick compared to his competition. I was still surprised when he was returning kickoffs for the Falcons

Re: Who is the fastest player in the nfl?
Hester runs 4.0 flat in full pads, but 4.3 on the track or in workouts.
