Ginn ran 4.38 or something when he was injured.

He's got to be one of the fastest when healthy, Pretty sure he's cracked 4.20

[/ QUOTE ]

No, he hasn't.

I'd say Bennett as well. James Jett back in the day.

I know Justin Gatlin has worked out for a few teams, not sure if he's made a roster yet.

clocked by a blind deaf person?

world class 100M sprinters run like 4.35 tops, they broke down the world record 100M sprint and I think it was around 4.4

NFL times are amusing

Their reluctance to go to all-electronic timing is strange. You would think it would be incredibly valuable to be able to reliably compare times in each draft class.

But I guess they think the ability to compare to times of the past outweighs the need for accuracy.

There's also something wrong with their vertical jump distances. They have offensive linemen going 35+", which would be good for a Div I basketball player, much less a 300 lb lineman.

well for the purpose of this thread - and in my own interest since track &field is stupid - it doesn't really matter how nfl players compare to track guys. since the thread is fastest nfl guy all i care about is where someone ranks relative to other guys in the nfl. if timing methods in the league vary so much that none of it means anything, then the thread is really just who is your favorite fast nfl player.
