It's not wireless, it's an old router I had back when I lived at home. Guess I'm going to Best Buy tonight or tomorrow to figure [censored] out.

Are you talking about Xbox Live? Windows Vista has absolutely nothing to do with your router working on Live. Just about any normal, functional router should work on Live; you don't need anything special, you just have to connect to the [censored] internet.
