NL50: 2pair in BB. Villain minbets flop and donks turn? What to do?
One of the first hands on the table so no reads or stats on villain so far. It turned out later that he was running 47/0/0.5 over the 45 hands we played together, maybe that would have influenced my decision if I would've known.
Basic question: how do we proceed on the turn here? Yucky spot in my opinion. I'd probably shove, but upon further reflection...it might be a fold...can you tell I'm clueless!

I think its a flat here. Without knowing that Villain is a moron, you should expect his shove-calling range to crush your hand. If he's drawing, he priced himself out. Eval on river. Obv if it comes club and he shoves, muck but idk, 8 was probably the worst card for us as far as reverse implied odds go. Crappy spot really.

Re: NL50: 2pair in BB. Villain minbets flop and donks turn? What to do?
It's a tough turn spot without any reads. It's an unraised pot so we have no idea what he has, he could have anything from a set, 76, AQ/KQ/QJ, etc, I doubt he pots the turn with a flush draw. With only $3.50 invested in a limped pot I'd fold the turn without reads. If you call the turn and fold to a river bet you have to be sure he wouldn't play AQ/KQ/QJ that way.

I put his range on 45/AQ/KQ/44/55 and maybe QJ (and maybe 6c7c), though I think he's more likely to c/c with draws.

I'm not sure about shoving here, because the only hands he's calling with that we beat are Q4 and 45 (and maybe AQ). Push turn. lol |

Re: NL50: 2pair in BB. Villain minbets flop and donks turn? What to do
How do you only have one combination of 67 in there? I think this is like always 67. Villain is unknown in NL50, and he was the blind. His range for calling a flop raise is much wider than that.
