I am trying to get out more; I've made a little progress with that over the last couple of weeks (joined an analysis study group).

Not to be a dick intentionally but that doesn't sound like the type of thing that will increase your social wellbeing. I might be wrong though as I have no idea what an analysis study group does.

It's better than nothing. One must take baby steps.

Yes, I go to a very nerdy school.

There is a MASSIVE shortage of female students here. That's typical for most engineering schools.

I had one class last semester that had 22 students, all male--and I didn't even notice for like four weeks. That's how bad the ratio is.

The frats around here typically don't recruit juniors. I mean, by the time I would be done with rush, the process after, etc. I would only have a year left. If I took an internship along the way, I'd be in the frat for like a semester.

I go to RPI. They gave me by far the best scholarship deal (free ride with room, laptop, books, etc. and a monthly stipend).

- 26
- Poker player. I like to jump stakes a lot, but mostly 1/2-3/6 NL when I'm grinding. 10/20 when I feel like gambling.
- Engaged to be married in a month.
- I'm pretty happy with my life, although a little anxious about the future. I'm getting interested in the financial markets. Right now I enjoy my free time to do my hobbies and live life the way I want to. But I may start looking starting a business or getting a job at a hedge fund or something in the semi-distant future.
