Is the turn raise standard?

Call and expect to lose. I don't think you can make these folds because people will start to run over you.

I think checking and calling the river is better because it sure looks like he was drawing.

I agree.

However, FWIW, Villain won't bluff when checked to very often here, given the action on previous streets.

I would raise the flop to try to get rid of the button. I would also like to get an idea of where I am at on the cheaper street. And there's no way I fold the river.

Vulnerable hand that could easily be outdrawn by the river. His edge is significantly bigger on a safe turn card than on the flop.

This is why I played the hand the way I did at the time, but now I'm having a hard time deciding which is optimal. I'm not sure how to figure out how/if the benefits of waiting for the turn outweigh the benefits of raising the flop.
