JJ hand against 4bet AI pre, history with villian
Villian is 28/17/2.4 over 3300 hands
I run 19/14 but at this table am running 28/26 because of a huge run of cards. Villian is on button and i am in sb. i have 3bet the villian hard 3 times in last 4 orbits because i had monsters. Full 6max table Villian $380 Hero $265 Villian makes it 7on button, i raise to 28 with JJ. BB fold Villian pushes all in. Now normally no read i fold here With our history of me being over aggro lately i would generally lean towards calling but this is what make the decission harder. Villian used his whole time bank. As it was getting towards end of time bank i thought to myself he either has a monster and is going to push or nothing and will fold. Then he pushed. Do you think this reasoning is right? As i think about it now though why would he push AA, KK why not call and let me cbet? Thoughts on hand? |

Re: JJ hand against 4bet AI pre, history with villian
I'd call here. If he pushes AQs/AKs/AKo/QQ+ you have enough equity to call. And his range might be even wider given how much you've been three-betting him. Only reason to hesitate is that we are a little deep. tbh it probably doesn't matter much in terms of ev. But I'd probably call

Or does this not matter? The way it was played i just felt like I was up against AA or KK, maybe reading to much, but not sure. |
