Bonds Haters: Please post why you hate Bonds

As an avid baseball fan and one that openly roots for Barry Bonds to break the home run record and continue to be productive in his 40's, I am slightly biased when it comes to issues regarding Barry.

Can the haters please post their well-reasoned arguments on why they hate Bonds so I might glean some information? For the record, posting [censored] like "Bonds took steroids buhhhhhh" is not what I'm looking for.

I'm a Giants fan, so I'm biased, but what other arguments would you get aside from "he's a lying cheater" and "he's a dick"? You already know what the arguments are. You'll just get examples of behavior and interview comments where people think he's arrogant.

I like Bonds and don't care if he breaks the record. When he actually does, I think it will be kinda cool. He may have taken steroids, but never tested positive, and the whole era may have been doing so.

I feel the benefits of steroids are probably overestimated as well. All of this makes me give a big "meh" and treat him like any other player approaching the HR mark. (Which is to say root for him cause I love baseball and like seeing cool [censored] happen in baseball).

Because he couldn't throw out the wickedly fast Sid Bream from deep, deep short in the 92 NLCS. I've seen better throws from the mayor of Cincinnati.

Also, the fact that he blames the media for portraying him in a negative light while completely disregarding that he's been an absolute prick to everybody for the past 20 years.

because people tend to not shower praise on people that they've heard are complete douche bags? I don't see why this isn't a "valid complaint"

fwiw one of my old baseball coaches had a cousin who played with Bonds on the Pirates, and he said he was nothing but a douche bag crybaby,along with being perhaps the worst teammate anyone could ever have.

not really.

believe it or not, people don't like sports just to root for the sickest producers. Personality is a huge part of it. And in that regard, Bonds sucks, maybe worse than any other superstar in my lifetime.

It's not anti-American, it's not anti-Capitalism, it's not anti-Baseball.. it's anti-Giant Dick Holes.
