Between movies, Internet and games the PSP is the easy choice for me. If your swayed by the 384th installment of Mario then i guess go for the DS.

[/ QUOTE ]

That's sarcasm right, especially the Mario comment?

i have both. ds, not close.

i do love the psp just for playing hot shots though.

i agree with everything in this post

psp would be a contender if the control pad wasn't so unbelievably terrible. playing any sort of real time game is a chore with it

my question, being a sony guy over nintendo, is the DS worth the money if you're buying it only for mariokart??

mariokart64 was my favorite game of all time...is the DS version similar?

lol this is a weird question to ask someone when this site is full of nintendo fanboys

Anyway I have nothing to add to this thread but i have a question of my own and dont think this needs a new thread. Anyone know anything about downloading emulators to your PSP? Supposedly you can download any emulator but you cant if you updated the software or something.

If this was 2003 then I could tell you how awesome the PS2 is. It's not our fault Sony dropped the ball and started pumping out an almost constant barrage of crap ever since the PSP came out.

OP wants a good handheld gaming system. The PSP is not a good handheld gaming system. I've tried to want one many times, it looks cool, but it just doesn't stop sucking.

DS

Throw me a PM and I will show you how to pretty much have the entire DS and GBA AND snes/nes (bit buggy currently) game library on your HD in about 4 hours, to play through your ds of course.

yea, i wasnt even the one with the original quote, i just thought it was funny that 1 guy out of 10 that prefer psp over DS has to be a "sony fanboy." I have no opinion though on which one is better, i havent played either one enough, but the masses tell me DS.

You've just missed 4high's posts in other threads trashing nintendo and pumping up sony. Both have strengths and weaknesses. He just seems very veheimently anti-nintendo.

PSP definitely.

And I've owned both.

I just find the PSP so versatile:-
Games
MP3's
Web browsing (incl following RSS feeds)
Photo albums
eMags
eBooks
Backup of important files from PC (2gig Memory stick)
