Off the top of my head I can think of at least 5 quality threads from Ericw but absolutely NONE from Dids.

Dids has been around far longer and in many more forums than EricW, who has never had a serious post for anything on this entire forum.

[/ QUOTE ] There's a difference between being a good poster, which is clearly not the case with Eric, and being a poster that should be banned. When I went through and totaled the votes, votes obviously placed out of Dids hate are discounted. However, contrary to what Gild thinks, most people actually gave pretty solid explanations as to why they felt the way they did, and it had more to do with their feelings on EricW and bannings in general than anything to do with me.

OK.
Final results. It's pretty equal in terms of good posters who are anit/pro banning. Essentially not enough to change the fact that the "no ban" vote has a strong lead. The only hesitation is that beyond diebitter, who well, is diebitter, Eric is super hated on by the mods. Still, I don't really see enough in his posting to warrent a ban when most folks in BBV4L don't want him gone. Thusly, EricW will remain unbanned by my hand. I'll even lift the containment thread on him (and me!!) but if he starts making stupid and/or trollish threads again, I'm pretty sure that if I don't get him, another mod will. Go forth and frolic Eric, but use something better than your own best judgement, lest your freedom be short lived. also here is a salad I made two nights ago
