it's just an irrelevant post for the most part. Wow, new club doesn't have great fans. Shocker.

At least they aren't tossing [censored] on the field when umps make a correct call.

Also, Colin is so far off base the local radio station booked him for next week to explain why he is wrong. And he really is.. our attendance ranks much higher than our record for the history of the franchise. We didn't go to games when owners refused to put a good product on the field.. but we were still average.

My guess would be, and I don't like assuming what someone is thinking, but I think OP is somewhat annoyed by the COL fans, particularly in this forum, acting as if COL is the greatest team this year and rarely wanting to account for catching A LOT of breaks. It is also annoying hearing about the "winning of 18/19" streak. Why the last 19? BOS was 99 of their last 165, NYY was 95 out of their last 166, and CLE is 99 of their last 166.

I would be shocked if any Rockies fan wouldn't admit to catching a lot of breaks in this run. The simple fact is if anyone is gonna do what they did you need a lot of outside help at times.

As far as the streak your comment is silly. That's how media always hypes things "x of the last y". People are just repeating it now because the media has built it up so huge.

Oh and we aren't the greatest team.. I have in 100 posts talked about how miserable the franchise has been for the last decade. However, we are playing the best baseball of any team for the last month and have a serious shot at a title.. of course people get excited.

Actually, let me add some historical perspective.

An older guy in my office claims that, during the years in the 1960s when the Yankees were in the World Series, it was possible to buy tickets up to the same day of the game. I have no idea if this is true, but it sounded interesting.
