Do you not realize that they have the meat still attached to the claw and become a finger food, as opposed to chunks of meat that are just... chunks of meat.

ah I grasp now. I thought you were saying they were just mis-shaped. You're saying it's just like shredded clumps of crab. See I'd eat it just the same, so I'd never be that picky. But I get it now.

No question that whole claw meat is far superior to this minced up crap. At least the minced up crap that I bought.
This is more like salty tuna, unless you make crab cakes or somtin else fancy, which is delicious, but its real cooking. I like awesome but easy to fix stuff.

I'd rate good crab cakes a 9 and good crab claws a 7 on my OOT-like scale of eating.

Actually I saw them in the store earlier. Will trip report if it turns out decent. "Special" looked like it was just... minced shreds of crab.

This stuff is actually kinda like normal crab. Not super different. We'll see.
