cause he seems definitely nitty enough to fold nearly everything he's supposed to fold, while you get more money in the pot mostly against a range you don't do well against (AK, QQ+). and if he overplays AK and 4bets you like some nits will, it sucks because you probably have to fold knowing his range, and you denied yourself the opportunity to play the better hand with position

so i think call's good against this dude

lol you asked a question and then flip out when someone gives you their opinion?

i dont really mind either play, and i think it kinda depends on your history. like if you havent 3bet him very much you definitely need to start here to make his life miserable oop, but if youve been 3betting him incessantly and hes been playing back or hes getting frustrated then i prefer a call, both because you might get 4bet bluffed and because it really masks the value of your hand. i doubt he 4bets u with much other than aa/kk though, so 3betting is probably usually best.

He's asking this question, because its a hand I played and we argued over the preflop action.

I had not been 3-betting him much, because he had not been opening much.

Thought it would be pretty obvious? His opening range isn't that big and JJ doesn't fare well vs the range he continues with if we 3bet.

The reason I IM'd costanza about this hand was because I thought the river was interesting.

I didn't think preflop was that interesting.
