I get Brady

I give up Chad Johnson

Current QB's are Kitna and Hasselback.

Definitely do this right??

Why would you need 3 QBs? is it a 2 QB league? Brady will consistently get points, ocho cinco won't. I don't know your team situation but if you get Brady, drop Kitna and Hasselbeck and pick up a decent waiver for week 10.

Obviously will drop one (Hasselbeck) if the trade goes through.

Also am I better off for the rest of the year with Washington defense or Minnesota defense.

Too broad of a question I think. Does your league place a limit on how many moves/trades you can make? If not, pick up whatever defense you feel has the best match up for the particular week.

If you had to choose between minnesota or washington, pick minnesota. they've been forcing more turnovers and scoring more defensive TDs. They give up more points, but it all depends on the scoring format of your league. Minnesota is currently ranked higher than Washington and since their upcoming match ups are comparable, I'd just stick with Minnesota. Remember though, they have one of the worst pass defenses in the league.

Don't drop one. Kitna should be able to get you a decent wide receiver or running back. Shop him and keep Hassleback until Brady's bye, and then drop him because you won't need 2 QBs with Brady

Good point. If somebody in your league is hurting for QBs, they might be able to get past Kitna's last performace against washington and realize that in that offense, he's gonna throw for a ton of yards. I'm not sure what you could expect to get out of them unless someone is facing QB injury problems.

So I made the Witten-Edwards deal. I think the upside Edwards has is great, and he'll play down to the last minute of the final week. Witten may be benched that last week if they're locked into their spot.

I've got Philip Rivers and Eli Manning.

I have pretty subpar receivers and RB's, so I should trade Rivers for a WR/RB right?

I think I can hang my hat on Eli for the rest of the season. Rivers is byeing this week and Eli is yet to bye, so I don't know what kind of trade value Rivers has since he's gotten off to a horrible start and he's byeing this week but I want him off my team.

Don't get your hopes up for Rivers. He's not even in the top 12 for QBs. I don't know if my league is that much different from yours, but in mine Rivers is a FA. Not much trade value there. But then again, the person who dropped Rivers is 0-6 and an idiot, so maybe you'll get at least a #2 WR or something.
