Don't bet on it, as many players are going to be broke or close to it.

However, the snowbirds arriving in October should help the situation.

About 14-18 miles...........remember, Silks has a TIMED RAKE of $5 per half hour.

The Hard Rock is approximently 12-18 miles from Tampa Greyhound also.

DERBY LANE is exactly 20 miles from Tampa Greyhound across the bay into St. Pete.

As ove last night the buy ins are the same as the rest of the state. $100 max...rebuy if stack goes under $50...if broke, you MUST buy $100. Ifyou want to rebuy before you get to $50, put a few chips in your pocket(don't tell them I told you)
The rake is the same 10% $5 max
Touney's are suffering BIG TIME. 45+5/100+20/100+25(6 seat)
They had a couple of $750+50 last week, Haven't heard if they will try it again.
Lots of actions players in the 1/2 NL a couple of 2/5NL tables going on a reg. basis.
Ohmaha 2/5 straight HUGE swings in that game.
Good Luck if/when you go!

I know Jasper is going to to be closer than Tampa. Not sure if it is closer than JAx but I would guess it is.
