Default hand from first session at nl50

first shot at nl50. picked up some hands, was raising a lot. in an earlier hand villian layed down nut flush draw in a reraised pot vs. me. no great reads on villian, but i know he can lay down hands if he thinks hes beat.

Ultimate Bet - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $68.50
BB: $54.60
UTG: $23.20
Hero (MP): $84.60
CO: $54.70
BTN: $65.90

Preflop: Hero is dealt 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (6 Players)
UTG folds, Hero raises to $1.75, CO folds, BTN calls $1.75, SB raises to $7.50, BB folds, Hero calls $5.75, BTN folds

standard raise for me pf. prolly didnt have direct odds to call his raise, but his hands pretty transparent and i have position.

Flop: ($17.25) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB bets $12, Hero calls $12

another bad call maybe. but my implied odds are great.

Turn: ($41.25) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $23, SB raises all-in to $49, Hero calls $26

he checks, i figure him for an underpair to kings, and my hand looks a lot like AK. he goes all in, and at that point i figure pots too big to fold for 26 more.

River: ($139.25) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 All-In)

Pot Size: $139.25 ($3 Rake)

SB had A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (two pair, aces and fours) and LOST (-$68.50)
Hero had 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (flush, king high) and WON (+$67.50)

what do you guys think on all streets. good bad or ugly?

um i fold preflop, you're not getting good odds on your suited connectors. I also hate your call on the flop, eww.

Fold pf, fold flop.

As played..you have to get it in on turn.

I think I was at this table.

Fold preflop and after 3-bet, fold flop, must call turn. Your implied odds aren't enough to get into situations like this. Especially if you're taking a shot.

umm whoah.

PF open is fine, fold to his raise. He isn't very deep.

DEFINITELY fold flop. That's ugly.

Since you made it to the turn, you have FE against JJ/QQ if you shove the turn. However, your hand doesn't look like AK, it looks like 99-QQ.

Then of course making your hand on the river is very good, you played that street fabulous.

I call shenanigans.

But, just in case, fold preflop, fold the flop.
