lol he's clearly a professional actor, how could someone even think he's like his character, the show would be impossible to produce. Its a scripted show, almost nothing is adlibbed.

I just meant it as I've been told he can never remember his lines and often just says something that comes to his head instead of what was written. I didn't want it to seem like he was walking around like a crazy man all day long. Remember the guy has been in like 15 movies and TV shows in the last 20 years. He is much better known as a musician.

my friend introduced to me to the office after episode one so i never saw the pilot. i just watched it from itunes. hilarious. so many good lines.
"theft...and stealing" "does the carpet match the curtains?" (or whatever) "if youre a doctor you dont..." (dont wanna spoil the rest) anyways i recommended everyone watch it if they havent seen it. not sure where else to put this so i put it in this thread.
