Default Tough spot or fate in rather deepstacked 2-4 live game

Hi
My stack: 850
Villian: 1,2k
Yesterday i played some live poker with 2-4 blinds. The players are really bad. Some of them don't seem to think about the hand their opponents might hold. I played somewhat tag and made a bluff on a turn against one guy, who called, but i sucked out on the river and had to show my riverluck. Then i got JJ in the cutoff. utg+1 raised pretty rough to 24 (normal raise at this table..) but he hasn't raised pretty much before(just limped many times) and i figured him to be somewhat loose-passive. After one caller, i called too - blinds folded. Flop: q j 4 rainbow.
Utg+1 bets about half of the pot, mid pos called and i raised it up. utg+1 thought for a while and then reraised my raise about 3 times. Mid pos folded.
My response ?
There was about 700 in the pot and i had 700 left.
What do you guys put him on ?

just work on your game.

not getting away with middle set vs top set on nonflush nonstraight boards is a pretty big leak.
