You can get HPV anywhere you have skin, which is basically everywhere. Certain strains of HPV have evolved to be more receptive to certain skin types. Obviously, hand warts are caused by HPV that prefer the skin on the hand, genital warts on the genitals, etc.

Recent studies that did scrapes underneath guys' fingernails discovered strains of HPV that are normally associated with genitalia.

I've overblown the mouth and throat thing. Mouth and throat are not too receptive to genital HPV and usually will eliminate the virus quickly (as will the spots underneath your fingernails). But yes, theoretically you could give someone HPV by munching box. There is some debate on this issue, but IMO the debate is motivated only by people who have HPV not wanting to admit this. FWIW, it would be a rare occurrence anyways.

michael , are you required by law to disclose that you have HPV when your going to have sex with some1? if not,do you tell them anyways? and what kind of general reaction do women give you when you tell them you have HPV?
