Default weird spot w/ KK on coordinated flop

live hand at the Derby in Sacramento.

Buyin is $400-$700 $5-$10 blinds

I have ~500 and just sat down. I folded for an orbit. Table seems weak passive so far. One table captain w/ 3k or so. lots of preflop limping and floating and folding to cbets.

I pick up red KK utg+1. we are 8 handed.

guy in CO who has about 1k. white guy early 30s w/ Ipod. seems comfortable, and seems to know the floor and some other players, so I assume this is his normal game. has played a few hands, but nothing crazy so far.

he calls.

button, blinds fold.

pot is 75 heads up.

flop is 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

I lead for 55 into 75.

in normal tempo, he raises to $155. he seems pretty confident.

what's the plan?

I don't follow the action? I think you raised to 30 given pot size, but maybe it got cut off.

i think standard here is go broke w/50 bb's, but i vote fold, as your almost definatly slightly ahead/way behind. the way behind being more frequent. Even if he smooth called pf w/ JJ you aren't much a favorite.

I like call/shove blank turn. He has some kind of draw or combo (e.g. J9) a large chunk of the time, so I'd peel off a safe card instead of jamming it in here for a 50-50-at-best.

If the turn is bad you can just c/f.

Also be sure to look into his soul as he watches the turn card fall, so you can tell if a card like a 9 is safe or not.
