Default lol slowplays always work

5/10 bodog, 1k stacks. CO is fish, SB is somewhat unknown but probably a TAGgish guy.

CO limps, SB raises to 35, i call in BB with KJo, limper calls.

flop AQTr, SB bets 80, i call, limper folds

turn 3 (puts a club draw out, Qc3c) SB bets 230, i call again

river Q, he bets 600 (not a shove, which is weird), I fold.

good laydown, or stupid slowplay? can it be both?

good point. he wasnt totally unknown, i just didnt have any specific notes or reads. we had played before, and i assume he views me as somewhat tight and very aggressive.

the slowplay is god awful.

river is close, i'd probably call but folding may be prudent.

i dont mind a raise on flop or turn, I dont mind waiting to the river.

I don't think you can be too unhappy. River can be a call vs some but I like the fold. Only problem is that most people shove here with a strong hand.

DJ,

I think not raising this turn is criminal given the action.

there was a point made in a HSNL thread a little while ago that I thought was interesting.

what if we have an awesome enough read that we can fold when we are outdrawn, but get all his money in by shove raising the river when we still have the nuts.
This sounds like a game-theoryish perfect way to play the hand.
That being said, I'm usually 8-12 tabling and fast playing is just easier, also it sucks when a K or J comes.
