Default Seneca Niagara Falls Tournaments/Cash Games

Due to my recent assumption of a residential mortgage, my traditional annual pilgrimage to Vegas is not fiscally viable this year. Sympathy donations are welcome.

So, this year's summer break will see me staying at the Seneca Niagara Falls Casino on the U.S. side of the border. I played there once a couple of years ago while attending a conference at Niagara-on-the-Lake. The room appealed to me because, at that time, they spread limit 08b and 7-card stud in addition to HE ... Fallsview only has/had HE (I recall asking a local player if Omaha was ever offered; he responded by asking me what Omaha was).

Anyone know how many players usually play the Seneca Friday and Saturday tournaments? What limits are offered for the 08b cash games? Any current peculiarities of the room (unusual policies, especially noteworthy regulars, etc.) a visiting player should be aware of? Thanks in advance for all information and advice.

08b is 3/6 with a half kill or full kill...not really sure...only runs on weekends and no one has any idea how to play

Tournaments don't normally get more than 30 or so registered. Room is nice, staff is knowledgeable and way better than the Canadian side but its not AC or Vegas

as per my norm i will say search the forums first, a bunch of us have posted many times about Seneca and general NF poker the rooms the limits the staff

More to your Q, there is only one O8 game and they play it Fridays and some saturdays. its 3/6 with a full kill. The players all suck , there isn't a legit one in the game except maybe trooper but other wise its 8 way action pre flop for an UTG raise.

At the end of july there is a week of trny's you might be interested in.

The first of the month Trnys run pretty well from my understanding but I do not play them.

every 3 months they have a "big" one thats 540 usually about <200 players

I <3 Seneca's staff and have played there since the open but the games are drying up atleat teh bigger games so I go to Fasllvue for cash.

On a side note Tue/Thur is they play the "big game" which can have Omaha high thrown in sometimes but not 8
