So I finally get a seat at a new 200 NL table and my night is going horribly. I am unable to make a pair besides a hand where a guy calls for his gutshot and hits it. (A4o EP, the nuts).

And then the following amazingly wonderful hand takes place:

utg opens for $15 ($5 bb) utg +1 calls, folded to me in MP and I make it 50 to go with AK diamonds. Folded to UTG who grabs the 50 plus another 100 and says 'I call, here's another hundred,' as he pushes the $150 into the pot. So after an argument with the dealer who says that it's a legitimate raise i call for the floorperson.

After listening to what people have to say, (the tournement players on my half were agreeing with me and the fish on the other side said that it was fine because he put the money as he said he calls.....??) the floor person decides that the raise is fine because he.... .... yeah i'm not really sure. So I ask for a supervisor. The supervisor comes over and listens to what the floorperson has to say. I try to explain to her that he verbally declared his action. (blank stare) She rules with the floor person. I ask the supervisor if she plays poker. She shakes her head. I give up.

Variance:
So i push in the rest of my chips, not much more and he flips his kings (phew). Flop is K + 2 diamonds. Turn and river brick. So I pretty much would have been felted no matter how the hand was played.

Summary: Guy pushed in a $100 raise and said call, floor person decided it didn't matter that he said call because he knew he was getting a better tip from the black guy. Supervisor who came to oversee the decision didn't know the rules of poker. I lose the monies.

Yes this is my first BBV post. Feel free to let me know if I'm better off complaining to my wall, or would receive a better response by saving time and typing saaaaaaaaaalazaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
