A-Rod only 5th player ever with 50/150 season.
Rollins and Granderson went 20-20-20-20 or something along those lines. |

Don't forget Craig Biggio's 3,000th hit, Roger Clemens's 350th win, and Trevor Hoffman's 500th save.
It's no match for 1990 as far as no-hitters are concerned, but it was a big year for individual milestones. I doubt there has ever been a year when three different players reached 500 homers. I was happy for Biggio and Thome. They both seem like good guys. Since I hate Sosa, A-Rod, and Bonds, I didn't really pay too much attention to those. All-in-all, I think 2007 will be remembered as one of the most historic seasons ever. |

Its funny that the posters I personally think are terrible then turn out to be the guys who hate A-rod and Bonds. Its a fairly strong correlation, go figure.

no-hitters are incredibly achievements, they aren't milestones though.

jimmy rollins set the ab and pa records [/ QUOTE ] I just heard today that he had over 700 AB. That's incredible. Has anyone ever had 700 before? Rollins finished with 716. He had a remarkable year and is certainly the leading MVP candidate on his team over Howard and Utley. For what it's worth, Holliday would still get my vote. |

[/ QUOTE ] It's funny how the only people I know in real life that actually like Barry Bonds are complete douchebag a-holes. No offense taken though. For what it's worth, I completely appreciate how great both of those players are. I just hate them. That's all. |
