Default 100NL TT Turn C/R - I Don\'t Know Why I Did This

This was a whimsical play that I decided to do on the spur of the moment. How bad is it?

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $98.50
Hero (BB): $194.80
Villain (UTG): $90.70
MP: $96.00
CO: $114.40
BTN: $96.50

Preflop: Hero is dealt T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 Players)
Villain calls $1.00, 4 folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $5.00</font>, Villain calls $4.00

Flop: ($10.50) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $7.00</font>, Villain calls $7.00

Turn: ($24.50) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, <font color="red">Villain bets $11.00</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $40.00</font>, Villain folds

Pot Size: $75.50 ($2.25 Rake)

The turn check is pretty standard.

His turn bet behind definitely comes off as a weakish/blocking bet. nh sir.
