If I'm having a long, annoying session I'll quit as soon as I'm up a reasonable amount (even if its just a couple hundred) so that I can feel good about buyng some booze and food.
Sometimes I'll start a session and quit in <10 minutes when I realize I just don't feel like playing. Frequently I just quit when I realize I'm sitting at a bunch of 5/10 or 10/20 tables and all the fish are gone and I've been playing for an hour already and don't want to grind out 2/4.

i usually do 1 session a day, sometimes 2
i have stopwatch and i'll quit when it gets to either 3 hours (now a days, since i'm busy) or 4 hours (when less busy) depending on what i decide ahead of time i usually actually quite at like 2:52 minutes
