Party crashing frequently (VISTA)

Cant see any obvious reasons but Party is currently crashing on my VISTA based laptop 5 or 6 times a day. There doesnt seem to be any pattern. CPU doesnt seem particularly high when it's running. It just simply freezes and says it is attempting to fix the problem (which it never does)

Any ideas anyone? It's costing me money for sure!
