Gold = internet style tournament player.. Go all in - hyper aggressive. Push the chips around. 2nd /3rd nuts is the nuts for them.
I like Gold actually - He is entertaining and a fairly good player. We know greenstein would have called..Wonder if Phil Hellmuth would have called in that position? - I think he would have..
Doyle's fold is not too bad - but I would call with any flush - I am not good enough to fold a flush ..

these photoshops are getting really tiresome. I will prop bet you $1000 this scenario is false.

This discussion is interesting considering how last season Negreanu was roundly criticized for repeatedly calling with the 3rd or 4th nuts. Or maybe it's just another week in the TV poker forum.

Poker is very situational and Daniel's decisions were not the same.

Some hands, the gus hand comes to mind, were simply coolers.
Some, like Edogs hand, he could have gotten away from.

Again, people are not saying Doyles fold was the worst one ever made, but it was incorrect based on the fact it was Jamie Gold and the how the board read.

you're kidding me... i'll have to look to see if i can find those threads about DN. of all the hands he got clobbered in there's only 1, wait maybe 2, that i think he deserves any criticism for at all. i think one was the hand that he flopped a straight against E-Dog and the other was a hand against Eli. and in criticising, i don't mean any real harsh criticism. simply that it was an acceptable call, but there were a few things that could have told him to fold.
