Biggest pot of my life
I'm in the process of moving up to 3/6, and I was doing pretty well at a table, and 200bbs deep. Following hand comes along:
PokerStars Game #10500851791: Hold'em No Limit ($3/$6) - 2007/06/18 - 17:09:55 (ET) Table 'Pandarus V' 6-max Seat #6 is the button Seat 1: PutzRabbit33 ($1596.05 in chips) Seat 2: jason4nic ($142.70 in chips) Seat 3: lobojiji ($120 in chips) Seat 4: Poly_Baller ($659 in chips) Seat 5: Genius314 ($1842.90 in chips) Seat 6: acidca ($1218.80 in chips) PutzRabbit33: posts small blind $3 jason4nic: posts big blind $6 *** HOLE CARDS *** Dealt to acidca [Ah Ad] lobojiji: folds Poly_Baller: folds Genius314: folds acidca: raises $15 to $21 PutzRabbit33: raises $99 to $120 This guy has ultra-nitty stats, so when he 3-bets so hard I know he's got the goods for sure, and wants to play a big pot with me. Niiiice. jason4nic: folds acidca: raises $228 to $348 PutzRabbit33: calls $228 *** FLOP *** [7d 8h 2d] PutzRabbit33: checks Alright, I guess there's some chance that, because of my sick-LAG image he decided to call my 4-bet with AK or something? Is that possible? If it is, should I bet small so that there's a chance he'll shove over me? Or should I just shove. I'm thinking that-- acidca has timed out acidca: folds acidca is sitting out acidca has returned PutzRabbit33 collected $699 from pot PutzRabbit33: doesn't show hand *** SUMMARY *** Total pot $702 | Rake $3 Board [7d 8h 2d] Seat 1: PutzRabbit33 (small blind) collected ($699) Seat 2: jason4nic (big blind) folded before Flop Seat 3: lobojiji folded before Flop (didn't bet) Seat 4: Poly_Baller folded before Flop (didn't bet) Seat 5: Genius314 folded before Flop (didn't bet) Seat 6: acidca (button) folded on the Flop SHIPPPPP ITTTTTT |

Re: Biggest pot of my life
I'm pretty sure buying a second internet connection + load balancing router costs less than $1200 over the course of a year. Sucks for this to happen.

Re: Biggest pot of my life
Just sent the following email to pokerstars:
PokerStars Game #10500851791: Hold'em No Limit ($3/$6) - 2007/06/18 - 17:09:55 (ET) Table 'Pandarus V' 6-max Seat #6 is the button Seat 1: PutzRabbit33 ($1596.05 in chips) Seat 2: jason4nic ($142.70 in chips) Seat 3: lobojiji ($120 in chips) Seat 4: Poly_Baller ($659 in chips) Seat 5: Genius314 ($1842.90 in chips) Seat 6: acidca ($1218.80 in chips) PutzRabbit33: posts small blind $3 jason4nic: posts big blind $6 *** HOLE CARDS *** Dealt to acidca [Ah Ad] lobojiji: folds Poly_Baller: folds Genius314: folds acidca: raises $15 to $21 PutzRabbit33: raises $99 to $120 jason4nic: folds acidca: raises $228 to $348 PutzRabbit33: calls $228 *** FLOP *** [7d 8h 2d] PutzRabbit33: checks acidca has timed out acidca: folds acidca is sitting out acidca has returned PutzRabbit33 collected $699 from pot PutzRabbit33: doesn't show hand *** SUMMARY *** Total pot $702 | Rake $3 Board [7d 8h 2d] Seat 1: PutzRabbit33 (small blind) collected ($699) Seat 2: jason4nic (big blind) folded before Flop Seat 3: lobojiji folded before Flop (didn't bet) Seat 4: Poly_Baller folded before Flop (didn't bet) Seat 5: Genius314 folded before Flop (didn't bet) Seat 6: acidca (button) folded on the Flop The warning that my time bank was going to be activated or whatever didn't even comeback. If I am not compensated for this hand I am going to take my business elsewhere. I've sent angry emails about this before, and it is beyond ridiculous that in a $700 pot where I am almost guaranteed to win another $870 that my hand would just be folded suddenly, without warning. I am 100% serious about taking my business to full tilt instead. Keep in mind I've paid over $6,000 in rake this month alone. I can say with near certainty that PutzRabbit either had AA or KK there, and my equity vs those hands after we get all-in on the flop is as follows: Board: 2d 7d 8h Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 13.658% 06.84% 06.82% 474 472.50 { KK+ } Hand 1: 86.342% 79.52% 06.82% 5511 472.50 { AdAh } 86.342% of $2440.60, or $2107.26. And yes, that is approximately a sixth of my current bankroll, and a significant % of my net worth, so it is a pretty big [censored] deal. I'm not bluffing. If they tell me there's "nothing they can do" I'm moving my roll to FTP |

They just folded my hand because my time bank ran out, and sometimes the time warning just doesn't show up. |
